Are you or someone you know experiencing workplace bullying? Do you know it is happening in your organisation?
I know how it felt for me. Utterly demoralised, it eroded my self-confidence and I absolutely dreaded going to work each day.
I have spoken with so many people who leave their jobs rather than face going into their workplace. Often giving up a job they once had a passion for. That’s if choice remains an option for them. I have been told that psychological damage caused by this has seen them experiencing depression, low self esteem and self-doubt about their capabilities and skills.
Being out of work can lead to low-income, social isolation, discrimination, family relationships breaking down and suicide.
Workplace bullying destroys careers. It destroys lives. It has to stop.
But, there is a way back if you have a supportive, engaged employer.

This film is very interesting. Plain talking, simple. Certainly throws light on some stuff in my life.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts Liz.
I hope sharing this helps others to recognise some of the signs of bullying, and others to not feel responsible if they are being bullied.
